Stefan Schrom . I Feel For U (12'' Boxer Sport, 2004)

Stefan breaks out an entire vat of acid in his mind stewing original on this single. He holds the listener up over it and keeps holding on until the very end where he lets go and drops the listener in only to have them enjoy the rasping goodness of the acid surrounding them. On the B side is Ada's detroit tinged yet still acidic and bubbling remix of Stefan's original. This record is a sure winner in any fan of Boxer, Sub Static, Kompakt, etc.'s record boxes.

Sob uma batida techno pulsante, Schrom mexe nos botões das frequências até ao extremo e elabora um tema a que se adere de forma instintiva. This rocks! No lado B, uma remistura de Michaela Dippel, aka Ada, abranda as bpm's e dá-lhe uma tonalidade electrónica épica, que cai bem.
Também em audição: 'Speicher 19', o 12'' conjunto de Magnet e Wighnomy Bros., 'Never Be Alone' de Justice Vs Simian com o selo da Gigolo (ainda estou à espera de ouvir a remix de Hell para este tema) e uma compilação de grime editada pela Rephlex que traz 12 temas divididos em parcelas exactamente iguais entre Markone, Plasticman e Slaughter Mob chamada, simplesmente, 'Grime'.
E assim começa mais uma semana.
